Nigerian international has been representing since he moved to Europe. Victor Osimhen announced his arrival last season when he joined Lille from Chalorie.
Despite signing for an undisclosed fee, he adapted to life in French as he contributed goals and assists for Lille - after they sold Nicolas Pepe to Arsenal for 72m pounds.

After the end of the season, he awarded the club's player of the season, as well as selection for Ligue1 team of the season.

Top clubs in Europe such as, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Manchester United and others came for his signature. Oshimen joined Napoli for a world record fee as an African player.

He has been generating buzz in Naples since he arrived which fans have been singing his praises.

But Thursday night will be one to forget for the 21 years old striker.

He received his first red card as a professional footballer. It was against Real Sociedad.

Osimhen was sent off by referee Craig Pawson in the third minute of added time after receiving two yellow cards.

It was gathered that Osimhen who replaced Italian forward Andrea Petagna in the second half, received his first yellow card in the 81st minute. He was given a red card 12 minutes later after elbowing Robin Le Normand while trying to control David Ospina’s goal kick.

But Napoli protected their 1-0 lead as they went ahead to beat Real Sociedad at the end of 90 minutes.

This means that Osimhen will now miss Napoli’s trip to Stadion Kantrida to play HNK Rijeka on November 5 2020.
