Leon Balogun reveals lessons Super Eagles learnt from their shocking 4-4 draw against Sierra Leone

On Friday, fans of the national team of Nigeria 🇳🇬 were left in shock after the Super Eagles squandered their four goals lead against Sierra Leone in Benin.
Nigeria had lead 4-1 in the first half, but things turned around in the second half as Gernot Rohr side conceded three goals in thr second half as the away side drew the game.

Although, the players have since taken to their social media space to apologise to fans of Nigeria 🇳🇬 for thr result. 

Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun who was substituted by the manager, Gernot Rohr in the second half has revealed the lesson the team learnt from the 4-4 draw against Sierra Leone. 

According to him, he warned not to allow one's success get into one's head. 

He tweeted: "Lesson to learn from last night: never let success get to your head and never let failure get to your heart. 
We will come out on top of this 🇳🇬🦅"


Nigeria will be hoping to fix the embarrassment when they travel to Freetown on Tuesday for thr second leg.
