There seems to be a sign of relief at Anfield following reports that their talisman is set to return to training.
If you recall that Liverpool's star Mohamed Salah tested positive for coronavirus while on international duty with Egypt. This came few days after the former Chelsea star attended his brother's wedding ceremony in Cairo, Egypt. He was caught on camera dancing with the newly wedded couples.

This prompted him to miss the Reds Sunday night win against Leicester City.

Jurgen Klopp side came into the game with six players missing due to injuries, but likes of Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino made sure their positions were not seriously felt as they scored the two goals while Jonny Evans scored an own goal earlier in the game.

The win saw Liverpool climb to third in the league standings.

Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Mohamed Salah has tested negative for coronavirus. The forward will resume training with Liverpool on Monday.

Klopp said: "That's what I've heard. A negative today. I think from now he is pretty normal in all the testing.

“Tomorrow [Monday] we have UEFA testing for the Champions League and I am pretty sure he will be in that. He can now train with us tomorrow.

“There could be Premier League tests the day after? Yes, there are two tests in the next two days so he will be tested, like all of us.”

Liverpool will return to the UEFA Champions League this week with a second leg tie against Atalanta on Wednesday night.

Ahead of the game, Liverpool could also be without Xherdan Shaqiri and Navy Keita.

For Shaqiri, he picked up injury during his international duty with Switzerland while Naby Keita was forced off during the win against Leicester City at the Anfield stadium.

Klopp said: “Naby felt his hamstring and was not able to play on, otherwise he would have stayed on the pitch.

“Shaq had a muscle injury with the national team which he didn’t really realise. He trained with us, and after that he felt it a little bit. We made a scan and they found that he has an injury from five or six days.

“Nobody knew about it, not even Shaq, and so he was not able to be involved. "
