Gabriel Magalhães tested positive for coronavirus, Willian and David Luiz are unwell ahead of Arsenal's game against Brighton

Arsenal have been dealt a blow following the latest team news ahead of their Premier League game. 
The Gunners travel to the Amex Stadium today to face Brighton Hove Albion. The game is expected to kick off at 7:15pm.

Arsenal are currently riding on their victory against their London rival, Chelsea on Boxing day. 

Ahead of the game tonight, it's been gathered that Arsenal defender, Gabriel Magalhaes has tested positive for coronavirus. The Brazilian will now miss matches the games against Brighton and West Brom.
It was reported that Magalhães tested positive after he had a close contact with someone who tested positive for the disease. 

Arsenal confirmed the report with an official statement which reads: " Gabriel Magalhães has tested positive for COVID-19 and is isolating according to UK Government and Premier League protocols. We will continue to monitor and support Gabriel, and we are hoping he will be available again after our next two matches." 

Meanwhile, it's also been reported that Brazilian duo of David Luiz and Willian will not be available for Mikel Arteta side against Brighton today. 

Just so you know, the trio of Magalhães, David Luiz and Willian missed the Chelsea game. 

According to reports gathered, David Luiz and Willian recently returned to training. They are expected to join the full squad on Thursday, 31 December. 

 Arsenal's Thomas Partey remains the only long time absentee in the team. The midfielder expected return date has been revealed as he continues his rehabilitation.
