Kieran Tierney beat Saka and Lacazette to Man of the Match award after Arsenal's 4-0 thumping of West Brom

Arsenal season seems to have turned the corner following their recent results. The Gunners have now recorded three wins in a row. 

It's been gathered that the north London side habe moved up the table to 12th in the league are they are just nine points away from the top four position. 

Last night, Arsenal thrashed West Bromwich Albion 4-0 at the Hawthorn. 

Kieran Tierney had given the Gunners the lead with a fine finish with his right foot before Bukayo Saka tap in makde it 2-0 just before half time. 

The Gunners came into the second half with two more goals from the boot of Alexander Lacazette who has been in form for the Arsenal team. 

After the game, the poll for the man of the match award was conducted and surprisingly, Kieran Tierney picked up the award. 

The Scottish full back was nominated along with Bukayo Saka, Alexander Lacazette and Smith Rowe who got and assist in the game. 

Bukayo Saka missed out from the chance to claim a third consecutive Man of the Match award. 

Jusy so you know that 19 years old Saka has already won back-to-back Man of the Match after his match winning performances against Chelsea and Brighton and Hove Albion in their last two previous games. 


It was gathered that the total votes casted was 67,962 and the ftmer Celtic youngster, Tierney polled 62 per cent, Saka who came in second got 17 per cent, while Lacazette as only able to record 12 per cent and finally, 20 years old Emile Smith Rowe got just eight per cent of the votes casted.
