Fans haven't been happy with performance of Willian and Nicolas Pepe. The duo are yet to find their feet since they joined the club.

For Nicolas Pepe, he came to the Emirates with a lot of prospects following his arrival from Lille two seasons ago.
Arsenal reportedly paid 72m pounds for the services of Pepe, 24 from Lille while Willian switched camp from Chelsea to Arsenal on a three years deal in this summer window.

The Brazilian who is 33 years old has only three assist and hasn't scored a goal so far.

It looks like the fans are getting frustrated with their two latest performance against Southampton in the FA Cup fourth round.

The Gunners lost the game at the St Mary's and they were dumped out.

Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta has stated that he will continue to offer his support to the two players who seems to be off form.

“They try to give their best,” the Arsenal boss said. “The intention and willingness is there and after the decision making, the final pass is the end product and that's the hardest thing in football. We're going to keep supporting them as much as we can."

Mikel quickly added that he hopes both players came find their form an help the team in the season.

Arteta added:“I hope so, and we're going to keep supporting them as much as we can as a coaching staff and as a club, because that's what they need. They need to keep working harder and try to improve their performances.

On being eliminated from the FA Cup by Southampton, Arteta said: “I’m very disappointed. We had a dream to do it again and that dream is over. I’m disappointed the way we conceded the goal. I cannot fault the efforts of the players, but it wasn’t enough.

“Really sad to be out of the competition. Disappointed to be out and the way we conceded. We had issues in the first half and unforced errors as a result of the high press they do. In the second half we had two or three big chances but not enough.

“It was an even game. In the first half they won a lot of second balls. In the second half we added more quality. We became more dominant and created chances but it wasn't enough.”
