Pochettino wins first managerial silverware as PSG beat Marseille to lift the French Super Cup for the 10th time

Neymar has handed Mauricio Pochettino his first silverware in his managerial career. This comes after Paris Saint-Germain defeated Marseille 2-1 in the French Super cup on Wednesday night. 

It was Icardi that put Paris Saint-Germain in the lead after 39 minutes. The Ligue 1 side doubled their advantage from the spot after Neymar came off the bench to convert a penalty. 

Four minutes after, Marseille pulled a late consolation from Dimitri Payet but the Parc des Princes outfit held on to clinch the cup for 8th consecutive season. 

For manager, Pochettino, it's the first silverware for him after he was recently appointed as their manager following the sacking of Thomas Tuchel late December last year.
