Aubameyang blames himself for misses chances against Benfica

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has ruled his missed chances almost his side in their 1-1 draw against Benfica at the Stadio Olimpico on Thursday.

The Gunners went behind after Pizzi scored from the penalty spot after a hand ball from Smith Rowe. 

Arsenal pulled the equaliser from Bukayo Saka two minutes later. 

After the game, Aubameyang admitted his side deserved more than a draw, if he had converted his chances. 

The former Dortmund forward missed a sitter in the first half and some other opportunities in the second half. 

Although, he credited the 19 years old Saka for ensuring his side have gotten an away goal ahead of the second leg next week.

Aubameyang shared a photo o the goal celebration with Bukayo Saka with the caption: "We deserved better and i should Score couple goals today but still one Game to Go we keep going. Well done @BukayoSaka87" 

Arsenal will now turn to the Premier League this weekend when they host Manchester City at the Emirates stadium on Sunday evening.
