It appears that the injury nightmare of Philippe Coutinho has continued as Barcelona have given a new update on the Brazilian.
The former Liverpool star has been injured since the past few months for Barcelona and it doesn't look like he will be returning anytime soon.
Barcelona have now confirmed that Philippe Coutinho will be travelling to Brazil for a medical treatment.
According to reports gathered, the creative midfielder will undergo therapy on his knee during his meeting with some specialists in Brazil.
Just so you know, Coutinho has been injured since 29 December 2020 during Barcelona game at Camp Nou against Eibar.
Philippe Coutinho has played 90 games for FC Barcelona, scoring 24 goals since he arrived at Camp Nou from Liverpool four years ago.
He reportedly spent the entire last season on loan at Bayern Munich where he lifted the UEFA Champions League, scoring twice against Barcelona in the semi final.
Bayern Munich refused to sign Coutinho permanently as the Bavarians were unwilling to pay his wages.
