According to reports from Goal, the coach Zoran Mamic has resigned after being sentenced to four years and eight months in prison.
Tottenham Hotspur currently hold a 2-0 advantage from the first leg round of 16 in England last week.
Mamic and his brother Zdravko were found guilty on corruption charges in 2018.
Croatia's supreme court upheld the initial rulings on Monday, and Mamic tendered his resignation.
"Although I don't feel guilty, I resign as I said before I would do if the sentence was confirmed," Mamic said in a statement on the club's official website.
"I wish all the good luck to the club."
The club’s board accepted the resignation of their coach and acted swiftly to appoint Damir Krznar as his successor.
