Manchester City will have a chance to move further with a victory on Sunday against Manchester United.
City are 14 points ahead of their rival an would open up a 17 points gap with a victory.
Just so you know, Guardiola’s side are on a 21 match winning streak in all competitions and could extend further.
Ahead of the home derby game, Nathan Ake is available for selection. The former Bournemouth and Chelsea star has been out of the team due to a muscular problem.
Ake who joined from 50m pounds from Bournemouth in the summer has been out for two months.
Although, the Dutch international doesn't looks like starting the derby because of the form of John Stones and Ruben Diaz at the center back position.
While speaking at his press conference, Guardiola expressed delight of having Ake back with the team.
“It’s good news for us,” said Guardiola at his pre-match press conference. “Nathan is back. He made the training sessions and felt really good."
Guardiola whose team is still in all domestic competitions in England, including an advantage against Monchengladbach in the Champions League added that everyone is fit.
Guardiola added: “Everyone is fit. It is important for us and hopefully at the international break everyone comes back really well.”
