Tottenham thrashed Crystal Palace 4-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium om Sunday in the London derby.
Spurs were pecked back after Christian Benteke equalised to cancel Gareth Bale opener.
A frenetic 10 minutes after the restart saw Bale score his second of the match before Kane’s phenomenal strike from outside the penalty area doubled the hosts’ advantage with 40 minutes still to play.
The captain would get his second goal to add to his two earlier assists 14 minutes from time, when his headed effort after a Son assist bounced its way easily into the empty net.
Despite his introduction in the second half, Zaha offered little going forward to help his side out aside from hitting the post, as the hosts were simply the better of the two teams on the day. The win puts Spurs into sixth place, while Palace stay in 13th.
Tottenham are in action again on Thursday, when they host Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League - before travelling to face Arsenal in the North London derby on Sunday. Crystal Palace take to the pitch again on Saturday when they play West Bromwich Albion.
