It was gathered that Eden Hazard returned after been out for weeks when he came on for the final 15 minutes against Elche.
Real Madrid came from behind to beat Elche 2-1 after brace by Karim Benzema, as the French forward scored a stunning strike in the 90th minutes of the game.
The victory sees Madrid close the gap between them and leaders, Atletico Madrid who are leading with 5 points gap.
Real Madrid return to the Champions League on Tuesday night. It's the second leg of round of 16.
Zinedine Zidane side hold a goal advantage after they recorded a 1-0 win over Atalanta in the first leg in Italy.
But according to coach Zidane, Eden Hazard will not be available for the game.
While speaking in his pre conference on Monday Zidane:"Something is going on. He has never been injured in his career and this is new for him. I can't explain more.
"We all want to help him. I hope he will be with us soon."
