PSG star Neymar has been slammed with 2 games ban following his brawl against Lille

Neymar has been banned for the two Ligue 1 matches, according to the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP)

This comes after he was sent off following an altercation with Lille defender Tiago Djalo, who was also dismissed during Ligue 1 clash last weekend. 

Neymar was given two yellow cards, the second for a late push on Tiago Djalo, who was also dismissed. It was also learnt that after the game, Neymar also tried to confront Djalo again in the hallway leading to the dressing rooms.

The two players have been handed three-match bans, with one of those games suspended.

Neymar will miss Saturday’s game at Strasbourg and the match against struggling Saint-Etienne on April 18.

Djalo, who was also dismissed for a second bookable offence after clashing with the PSG man, was given a one-match suspension. Both players had a further one-game ban suspended.
