Danny Rose has asked to return to Tottenham's first-team squad following the sacking of Jose Mourinho on Monday.

The defender was seen in high spirits as he arrived the training ground this afternoon.

The left-back and former England international was sent on loan move to Newcastle during the second half of the 2019/20 Premier League season but was left out of Jose Mourinho plans amid his return in the summer.
Instead, Jose Mourinho moved to sign left back Sergio Reguilon from Real Madrid in the summer window of 2020.

Following the sack of Mourinho, Danny Rose could have a chance to revive hi career under new care taker manager Ryan Mason.
It's been gathered that the former Tottenham player, who has been managing the academy team of Tottenham will manage the entire games of the season.

Tottenham Hotspur are currently sitting in seventh position and are six points behind Chelsea and Liverpool who are in fifth and sixth placed respectively.

Ryan Mason, who also had loan spell at Hull City retired after he suffered a fractured skull following a collision with Chelsea's Gray Cahill years ago.

Mason first job will be to guide Tottenham to glory when they face Manchester City in the final of the FA Cup this weekend.
