UEFA Champions League: Rafael Varane tests positive for coronavirus ahead of Real Madrid vs Liverpool

Rafael Varane has returned a positive covid-19 test and will miss their home leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Liverpool on Tuesday. 

Real Madrid announced that their French defender had tested positive for the coronavirus. He will also miss Saturday's Clásico against Barcelona. 

Real Madrid have already miss Sergio Ramos and Dani Carvajal ahead of the game.
