Brighton pick up their first win in four games to move 10 points clear of the relegation zone, after a 2-0 victory over Leeds. They led 1-0 at the break after a Gross penalty, before Welbeck doubled their lead late on, with a superb turn and finish inside the box. The visitors struggled in the final third and their six-game unbeaten run came to a disappointing end.
This victory moves Brighton up to 14th in the table and they face Wolves next time out. Meanwhile Leeds remain ninth and they welcome Tottenham to Elland Road next weekend.
