AC Milan star Hakan Calhanoglu has signed for rival club, Inter Milan as a free agent

Hakan Calhanoglu has officially signed for Inter after leaving Milan as a free agent. He has signed a deal that will run until June 2024. 

The 27-year-old Turkey international had joined Milan from Bayer Leverkusen for €23m plus bonuses in July 2017 and his contract was allowed to run down.

Calhanoglu is the second Milan player to leave this summer as a free agent, after Gianluigi Donnarumma went to Paris Saint-Germain.

He made 172 competitive appearances in the Rossoneri jersey, scoring 32 goals and providing 48 assists.
