Barcelona have completed the signing of Man City youngster Eric Gracia

Barcelona have confirmed their second signing ahead of the 2021-2022 season. The Spanish club seems to be preparing for the forthcoming season after another disappointing season which saw Ronald Koeman's side finish third in the La Liga table. 

Earlier today, Barcelona completed the transfer of Eric Gracia. The 20 years old Spanish international joined Barcelona from Manchester City on a free transfer.

The 20-year-old defender has reportedly signed a five-year-long deal with the Catalans. 

Eric left Manchester City after he wasn't guaranteed a starting shirt under Pep Guardiola. He has now returned to Barcelona to continue his football development. 

Eric Gracia graduated from Barcelona's La Masia, and the club shared pictures of the youngster while he was at the club's academy. 

According to reports gathered, he has completed his medical and he was unveiled to the fans at the Camp Nou on Tuesday afternoon. 

Meanwhile, Barcelona president Joan Laporta has expressed his desire to convince their youngster to return to the club. 

Eric Gracia made the Spanish squad for the upcoming Euro 2020 competition. He becomes Barcelona second signing after Sergio Aguero joined on Monday.
