Neymar breaks down in tears after Brazil win against Peru as He nears Pele record

NEYMAR broke down in tears after taking another step towards Pele's Brazil goal record following Brazil victory over Peru in the Copa America. 

The all-time great's tally of 77 is just nine away for the Paris Saint-Germain star following Thursday night's 4-0 win.

Pele, 80, took to Instagram to praise Neymar following his performance in the Copa America. 

He wrote: "Every time I see this boy, he is smiling. It's impossible not to smile back. It is contagious. I, like all Brazilians, am always happy when I see him playing soccer. Today, he took another step towards my goalscoring record for the Seleção. And I'm rooting for him to get there, with the same joy I've had since I saw him play for the first time."
