According to Sky Sports, Olivier Giroud is set to complete a move to AC Milan on a two-year deal for a fee in the region of €1m.
Giroud was spotted at the Milan's La Madonnina clinic on Friday (July 16th 2021) morning where he completed his medical.
The French striker has bid farewell message to the fans of Chelsea, he appreciated the club, his team mates and fans for their support.
Taking to his Twitter page, he wrote: ""To all the Blues, to my teammates, to all my coaches, to the whole club, a huge thank you for these special moments.
"I'm starting a new journey with a light and happy heart. Our victories in FA Cup, Europa League and Champions League have been magnificent."
Recall that Giroud joined Chelsea in 2018 from their London rival Arsenal. The Gunners sold the Montpellier striker to Chelsea for £18m after spending six years at the Emirates stadium.
Oliver Giroud has scored 39 goals in 119 appearances for Chelsea. He won three major trophies (Champions League, Europa League and FA Cup Trophy) with Chelsea.
