Mikel Arteta side endured a disappointing campaign last season following their shock exit from the Europa League. They were knocked out in the semi final against Villarreal who eventually defeated Manchester United in the final.
Arsenal have already signed three players. Nuno Tavares has joined from Benfica, Albert Sambi Lokonga from Anderlecht and Arsenal "splashed" £50m on Benjamin White from Brighton and Hove Albion ahead of the new season.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have been dealt "serious blow" while preparing for the season. According to Goal, the Gunners midfielder is expected to be sidelined for few weeks.
Thomas Partey who was forced off during Arsenal's defeat to Chelsea over the weekend will miss the opening games of the season, Goal reported.
The Ghanian was tackled by Chelsea's Ruben Loftus-Cheek during the Gunners' 2-1 at the Emirates stadium on Sunday. Partey was forced off in the 39th minute because he couldn't continue the game.
This means that the former Atletico Madrid star will miss Gunners London derby against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.
Arsenal will kick off their 2021-2022 Premier League season against Brentford at the the Brentford Community Stadium on August 14th 2021.
