Manchester City have confirmed their first signing ahead of the 2021-2022 season. The "Noisy neighbours" are currently building up their squad for the forthcoming campaign which will kick off on August 14th.

Recall that Pep Guardiola's side clinched the Premier League title and retained their seventh League Cup title last season. The former Barcelona coach lost to Chelsea in the final of the UEFA Champions League.
Pep Guardiola has decided to add more quality to his team with the arrival of Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish. Manchester City have completed the signing of Jack Grealish for £100m. The forward has signed a six years deal with the Premier League champions.

Jack Grealish is one of the most sort after midfielders in Europe following his performances for Villa in recent seasons. The England international has 213 appearances, scoring 32 goals during his eight seasons with Aston Villa.
Jack Grealish has completed his medical, he was unveiled to the fans and media on Thursday. Grealish will wear jersey number 10 which was previously worn by Sergio Aguero who left for Barcelona on a free transfer.

Meanwhile, Jack Grealish took to his social media space to express his excitement after he joined Manchester City.

He tweeted pictures of him rocking Manchester City jersey with the caption: "Ready for the next chapter! So proud to have joined the Premier League champions, can’t wait to get started."
