Manchester City have immortalize their two legends at the club. The Sky Blue have unveiled the statutes of David Silva and Vincent Kompany following their departure few seasons ago.

The statutes of the two great Manchester City stars were unveiled for the fans after their 5-0 thrashing of Arsenal on Saturday afternoon.

Pep Guardiola side recorded a comfortable victory against the Gunners at the Etihad Stadium last weekend. Goals from Ilkay Gundogan, Gabriel Jesus, Rodri and brace from Ferran Torres sealed the comprehensive victory for the Premier League champions.
Vincent Kompany played as a centre back for Manchester City from 2008-2019. The Belgian international played for Manchester City for 11 seasons, and he captained the club for eight seasons. 


Recall that he joined City at age 22 from Anderlecht in 2008. Kompany played 360 games and scored 20 times for the Sky Blue. 
Vincent Kompany lifted four Premier League titles, two FA Cup trophies, four League cups and two Community Shields. The 35-year-old is currently the manager of Belgian club RSC Anderlecht. 

David Josué Jiménez Silva is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. The 35-year-old joined City in 2010 from Spanish club Valencia. David Silva played 436 games and scored 77 goals for Manchester City. 


Silva who os regarded as one of Manchester City's greatest midfielders lifted four Premier League titles, two FA Cup trophies, five League cups and two Community Shields.


David Silva announced his departure from Manchester City in 2020 after the expiration of his contract. The 35-year-old signed for Spanish club Real Sociedad on a free transfer.
