Ruben Dias has signed 6 years contract extension with Man City which will run until 2027

Manchester City have confirmed that their defender has signed long term contract with the Club. 

Rúben Dias is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for Premier League club Manchester City and the Portugal national team. The 24-year-old is one of the most sort defenders in Europe. The Portuguese international is known for his strength and aerial ability while on the football pitch. 

On Monday (August 30th 2021), Manchester City announced that Ruben Dias has signed a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2027.

Recall that Dias signed for Manchester City from Benfica for 35 million euros in 2020. The 24-year-old played 47 games for Guardiola's side as they lifted the Premier League title and league Cup last season. 

Ruben Dias was also named UEFA best defender and he was named Premier League Player of the Year in his firsti season in England.
