2022 World Cup Qualifiers: Iheanacho scores twice as Nigeria beat Liberia 2-0 in Lagos

Super Eagles kicked off their campaign in the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers on a high following their victory this evening. 

Nigeria recorded a comfortable 2-0 win against Liberia at the Teslim Balogun Stadium Lagos on Friday.

Kelechi Iheanacho scored the two goals in the 22nd and 44th minutes for Gernot Rohr men to seal the three points early in the game.
Meanwhile, Captain Ahmed Musa replaced the goal scorer, Kelechi Iheanacho while Shehu Abdullahi replaced Alex Iwobi who provided the two assists. Also, Oghenekato Etebo also took the place of Aribo late on.

The Super Eagles will face the Blue Sharks of Cape Verde in their next game on Tuesday.
