"Arsenal is in good shape under Mikel Arteta" - Arsene Wenger admits

Former Arsenal boss remains unbeaten about the Gunners poor start in the current 2021-2022 Premier League season.

Mikel Arteta side ate currently bottom of the Premier League table after they lost all three games in the month of August.
But Arsene Wenger, 71, believes the north London side arw still in a good shape under Arteta.

'I'm 71. I've given this club the best years of my life. At the moment I'm just a fan,' Wenger told BILD. 'Today the club is in good shape.

'They had two tough games (against Chelsea and Manchester City), the team has potential and I hope they can come back.'
Recall that Wenger left his role as manager of Arsenal in 2018 and since then the club haven't been able to qualify for Champions League spot. The best Arsenal got was under Unai Emery in 2018 when they reached the final of Europa League but lost to Chelsea.

71 years old French tactician has taken up role as FIFA's Chief of Global Football Developments since he retired from coaching. He was the manager of Arsenal from 1996 to 2018, where he was the longest-serving and most successful in the club's history.
