Cristiano Ronaldo arrives Manchester United along with partner Georgina Rodriguez and their kids

Cristiano Ronaldo has touched down Manchester United following his return to the club after 12 years. Recall that the 36-year-old completed two years deal after he left Juventus this summer. 

Ronaldo was in action during the week against Ireland Republic where he scored two late goals for his side's 2-1 comeback. 

Egan had given Ireland the lead in the first half but Ronaldo scored two headers in the 89th and 90th minutes of the game. 

The 36-year-old became the men’s international top scorer with the two goals after he surpassed Ali Daei’s previous mark of 109 goals. 

After the game, Ronaldo boarded private plane to England to join Ole Gunnar Solskjaer men. The former Real Madrid star will not play in Portugal second game against Azerbaijan next Tuesday. This is because he picked up a yellow card against Ireland ruling him out of contention for the next game. 

Ronaldo was received at a private terminal by Darren Fletcher, his former team-mate and the club’s technical director. 

The Portuguese star was seen heading into the plane with his partner Georgina Rodriguez and their children. 

Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to resume training at Carrington next week ahead of Manchester United’s next fixture against Newcastle United in the Premier League on 11 September.
