Ederson pens five years contract extension with Man City which will run until 2026

Manchester City are currently enjoying their winning streak in the Premier League campaign. Recall that the Sky Blue suffered 1-0 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur in the opening game of the season but have bounced back with victories against Norwich City and Arsenal respectively.

The Premier League champions have confirmed the contract extension of their goalkeeper. The club confirmed that Ederson has put pen to paper on a long term deal.
Ederson Santana de Moraes is a professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Premier League club Manchester City and the Brazil national team. 

The 28-year-old have extended the contract with the Club on a five years deal which will see him remain at the Etihad Stadium until 2026.

Ederson joined Manchester City from Benfica in 2017, Ederson has made 195 appearances, recording 97 clean sheets and conceded 145 goals during his time at the Etihad Stadium. 

Recall that Ederson started his career at São Paulo in 2008 before joining Portuguese side Benfica in 2009.
