Former Arsenal star has expressed his excitement after he scored his first European goal in over three years.
Mesut Ozil helped Fenerbahce earn a draw against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League on Thursday night.
The 32-year-old tapped in from close range with his weaker right foot after just 10 minutes at the Deutsche Bank Park.
It was Ozil first goal in Europe since September 2018, when he netted in Arsenal’s 4-2 home victory over Vorskla Poltava in the Europa League group stages.
Although, Fenerbahce were unable to hold onto their lead, with Sam Lammers equalising for their German opponents shortly before half-time in the group-stage clash.
