Real Madrid star is expected to be ruled out for three months.

Ferland Mendy is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for Spanish club Real Madrid and France national team.

The Frenchman was injured on the eve of Real Madrid's LaLiga Santander clash with Celta Vigo. It's been gathered that he has now been ruled out for three more weeks with a muscle problem.

The 26-year-old isn't available for this weekend due to a discomfort after the final session prior to the game against Celta Vigo.

Mendy will now be out of action for another 21 days, he will miss games against Valencia, Real Mallorca, Villarreal, Sheriff, and Espanyol.

Although, Mendy is likely to be fit to play again on October 17 against Athletic Club at the Bernabéu.
