Antonio Conte has expressed his belief that Tiemoue Bakayoko can still improve despite a superb start at Stamford Bridge.
The France international joined the Blues from Monaco in a £40million deal in the summer.
‘I think now Bakayoko is fit, he’s 100%, and he’s playing very well,’ Conte said.
‘For sure he has a lot of room for improvement, he’s a young player, sometimes alternates positive things, negatives things.
‘We have to try to work together to increase the positive things during the game. But for sure he’s showing to be a really good player and an important player for us.’

Conte also gave some insight into how he plans to rotate his midfield options this season, and hinted that the current pairing of Bakayoko and Kante won’t always be first choice.
‘In every situation, in every game, you must consider game by game, and then to make the best decision for the game,’ he explained.
‘The most important things for every team is always to find the right balance. And you must consider (different things) when you play a strong team, a team of medium level or a team fighting for relegation zone. Because sometimes you can make different decision.’
