Super Eagles Players Victor Moses and William Troost-Ekong have been nominated for 2017 CAF Player of the Year Award.
The duo are the only two to be nominated for the award.
Al Ahly of Egypt striker Junior Ajayi is the only Nigerian in contention for the African Player of the Year based in Africa.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Borussia Dortmund/Gabon), AFCON 2017 MVP Christian Bassogog of Cameroon as well as Mohamed Salah of Liverpool and Egypt are among the nominees for the prestigious award.
2016 winner Riyad Mahrez is missing from the nomination.
The award ceremony is slated for January 4 in Accra, Ghana.
