Arsenal confirms Mesut Ozil has signed contract extension

Arsenal have confirmed that Mesut Ozil had signed taxes contract extension at the Emirates.

The German deal was expected to run out in the summer of this campaign and was speculated to leave the club.

Ozil new deal is expected to run until 2021.

According to Arsenal FC : "We’re delighted to announce that Mesut Ozil has signed a new long-term contract with us."

Mesut has won the Emirates FA Cup three times since joining us in 2013, making 182 appearances, scoring 36 goals and racking up 61 assists.

Mesut has scored four goals, claiming seven assists and creating 70 chances in 21 appearances in all competitions this campaign.
