Cheapest Data Plans For Android, IOS, PC, Mac This December

The year is almost coming to an end and the amount of money that has been spent on data this year is too much. From a report that I gathered from a friend who sells data and other VTU stuff, Nigerians spend N197 billion monthly on internet data. If you look at that amount, you can already begin to estimate the amount that you add to make up the N197 billion.

That’s why it is advisable to go for cheap data plans to reduce the amount of money you (I) add to that amount of money that you spend on internet data. At least you spend N1,000 on data every month, aside airtime. Thanks to the internet, we can all know the cheapest data plans that we should go for, this plans are working perfectly and they are much enjoyable when you have things to download. On this article, we are going to scale through the cheapest data plans on all available major networks in the country, here they are;

1. Glo 1.2GB for N200
As usual, Globacom always comes first in the list of cheapest data plans available. This data plan is tagged, Glo Special Data, and if you have been following this blog closely, you should know about it by now. With the Glo Special Data, you can get 1.2GB for N200. This betters 9mobile N200 for 1GB plan despite having the same validity period of three (3) days as the plan.

To activate 1.2GB data for N200 on Glo, dial *777#, reply with 1 > 1 > 5 > 2 > 1. If you followed the sequence correctly and have the necessary amount of airtime on your account balance, you should purchase the data. The data is valid for three (3) days.

2. Airtel 1GB for N350
Number two (2) on this list is the Airtel Download Bundle. Airtel silently launched this plan, but they just began to start sending out text messages to their subscribers concerning it. Many will ask, why is this a plan that I should even go for, here’s the reason. Number one reason is that, the Airtel Download Bundle is the cheapest data plan on Airtel at the moment and it doesn’t depend on your sim card being eligible.

Secondly, the Airtel Download Bundle, as the name suggests, is for those who do heavy downloads. Now tell me, when you subscribe for the normal 750MB worth N500 or the 1GB data worth N500, what assurance do you have that it won’t finish under a day. Just like the Glo Special Data, Airtel Download Bundle is something that you should consider for this festive season, with regards to the fact that good movies are being released in this period.

To activate the Airtel Download Bundle, ensure that you have at least N350 on your Airtel sim card. Then, dial *141*354#. Like I said, it is only valid for a day, so use it to your own satisfaction.

3. MTN 1.2GB for N500
Despite being the network with most freebrowsing hosts at the moment, MTN still decided to give each and every one of their customer a data plan to ponder on. The 1.2GB data worth N500 is valid for 7 days, to activate it, recharge your MTN sim card with N500 and dial *131*103#, you should be awarded with 1.2GB data.

4. 9mobile 1GB for N200
Last but not the least, 9mobile, formerly known as Etisalat. This plan is considered as the cheapest plan available on the network, one bad side of it and it is by far a very bad side, is that, your sim card might not be eligible for the offer. The data plan works on sim eligibility i.e it selects sim cards.
