Cardi B reveals she's working on her marriage with Offset

Cardi B has addressed her and Offset’s marriage woes – saying their reconciliation will take time.

Speaking to People, the 26-year-old said: I hang out with him, I talk to him every day and we do our thing. It’s just like — to make things perfect … it takes time.

‘You know, f**king and hanging out doesn’t mean that you guys are on like a perfect note, it takes time. It takes time. And it’s a marriage and there’s a child involved and family involved.’

Offset, 27, was accused of attempting to organise a threesome with two other women in the wake of the split.

Cardi continued: ‘People are so quick to be like, ‘You should just date somebody else. It’s like, honey, I’m not like you — I’m famous. I gotta consider who I’m dating, I gotta make sure people will have me for me.

‘And I have a kid. … We are a package. It’s not just Cardi, it’s Cardi and Kulture.’

Cardi – real name Belcalis Almanzar – confirmed in an Instagram video that she had broken things off with her husband of one year, saying: ‘We are really good friends and we are really good business partners— you know he’s always somebody that I run to to talk to, and we got a lot of love for each other but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time.

‘It’s nobody’s fault I guess we just grew out of love but we are not together anymore. I don’t know, it might take time to get a divorce and I’m going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father.’

However, Offset, real name Kiari Cephus, didn’t seem to be on board with the break-up, making grand public apologies and gestures, including one which saw him crash one of her concerts to try and win her back (which was totally out of order, by the way).
