Lacazette shares injury update of his partner, Aubameyang

Aubameyang missed Arsenal's trip to Huddersfield at the weekend, but he has come back to fitness sooner rather than later

Arsenal forward Alex Lacazette has revealed that striker partner Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has returned .

Aubameyang, who was absent from the Gunners' 2-1 win over Huddersfield at the weekend, was out through illness.

The Gabon international has been instrumental for Unai Emery's side this year, scoring 15 times so far in the league.

And the partnership that he has struck up with Lacazette has been one of the positives of Arsenal's season, with the pair good friends off the pitch as well as on.

In the video, which was posted on Lacazette's Instagram story, Aubameyang can be seen lying face down, seemingly receiving a massage.

The caption of the video reads "Aubameyang, he came back finally!"

As Lacazette approaches Aubameyang, he can be seen looking at his phone, but when Lacazette approaches further, he looks up and laughs at this team mate.

Aubameyang's swift return comes as a timely boost for the Gunners who recommence Europa League duties, to start a packed schedule before they face off against fierce rivals Tottenham on March 2.

The two North London rivals have already faced each other twice this season and currently sit on one win apiece after two feisty affairs.
