Super Eagles striker Junior Ajayi signs a new deal with Al Ahly until 2022 season following his impressive turnout since his return from a five-month injury layoff.
The 23-year-old who narrowly missed out on the Nigerian squad to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia will remain with Egyptian Premier League Champions for another four years.
Ajayi joined Al Ahly from Tunisian league giants CS Sfaxien in 2016 and former Shooting Stars goal poacher has gone to score 24 goals in 80 games for Al Ahly and has become one of the leading marksmen on the continent.
Ajayi is expected to return to action when Al Ahly battle on El Dakhleya in an Egyptian Premier League encounter at Cairo International Stadium on Wednesday.
