Former Aston Villa and England striker Gabriel Agbonlahor has confirmed he has retired from football.
The forward spent 18 years playing for Villa and is the club's top Premier League goalscorer, but he was shown the door at the end of last season after the club opted against renewing his deal.
The striker played last game for Villa against Sheffield United before his release last summer

Agbonlahor, who earned three caps for England between 2008-09, had been working hard to improve his fitness in an attempt to find another club but has now decided to call time on his career.
Speaking to Free Radio at the Pride of Birmingham Awards, he said: 'I haven't made a big deal about it, by posting anything on social media about retiring, but no that's me done.'
The academy graduate played nearly 400 times for Villa scoring 86 goals and made his final appearance for the club against Sheffield United back in December 2017.
