Roberto Firmino was handed a homemade sign from a doting Liverpool supporter as the Reds stars made their way into training on Friday morning.
Liverpool are preparing to face Everton in this Sunday's Merseyside derby and they were boosted by the news that Firmino is back in contention to face their local rivals.
And the Brazilian also received a timely confidence boost from one fan - who signed off as 'HK' - as he arrived at Melwood.
The supporter, likely to be a Hong Kong-based fan rather than a certain Tottenham Hotspur striker named Harry Kane, had put together a lovingly-crafted sign which read: 'Best No 9 Firmino, from HK'.
The former Hoffenheim striker was clearly delighted with the sign - as he jokingly used it as a shield from the photographers as he arrived for Jurgen Klopp's final preparations ahead of their crucial derby showdown.
Recall that Firmino missed Liverpool's emphatic 5-0 victory over Watford during the week but he is expected to be involved this weekend.
Also in attendance at Melwood on Friday was in-form forward Sadio Mane, dressed in religious attire.
Frimino has managed to score six goals from his last six appearances for the title chasers.
Liverpool fans will be hoping to see Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain return to action in the not-too-distant future as he begins the final stages of his recovery from a long-term knee injury.
Divock Origi has also shown his worth to the Liverpool squad by scoring against Watford on Wednesday.
His team-mates Xherdan Shaqiri, Gini Wijnaldum, Alberto Moreno and Alisson were also seen making their way into training as they prepare for what looks set to be an intense title run-in.
Liverpool are currently top of the Premier League by a single point with ten matches remaining.
The Reds have not won the Premier League since 1990 but excitement is growing around Anfield that their long wait for a title could be coming to an end.
But it won't be easy; defending champions Manchester City have hit autopilot in recent weeks and they continue to pick up the points.
Pep Guardiola's side have won 14 out of their previous 15 matches in all competitions and also secured the League Cup trophy last weekend.
They followed up their Wembley success with a 1-0 win at home to West Ham during the week, a result which showed that even when they have an off day, they are still capable of securing maximum points.
Manchester City face a Bournemouth side on Saturday who have not won since they dismantled Chelsea 4-0 at the Vitality Stadium.
