Danilo Kuiz has joined Juventus as a swap deal as João Cancelo joins Manchester City. The Italian club had sold Joao Cancelo to Manchester City for €65m while signing Danilo for €37m. The defender will be with Juventus until June 2024 and will be playing in three instalments. Needless to say, the 25-year-old got a warm welcome in the Italian club was taken to the J Center for medical tests. Just when he entered the J-Center, Luiz was welcomed by his Real Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.
The pictures of Luiz’s arrival were shared by Juventus on their social media accounts. The contract was signed yesterday. “Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that these agreements have been finalized with Manchester City Football Club: Definitive acquisition of the registration rights of the player Danilo Luiz da Silva for consideration of € 37 million payable in three financial years. Juventus and the player have signed a 5-year contract of employment until 30 June 2024,” said Juventus in their statement.
