Paul Pogba has had the cast on his right ankle removed and will be looking to step up his return from injury during the international break.
The France international has not played for United since the draw against Arsenal in September as he struggled to recover from a foot injury.
But the midfielder is now looking to step up his return after having his cast removed. Pogba posted a video on his Instagram page of the cast on his right foot being cut off and he was all smiles after it had gone.
The 26-year-old appeared on French television via Skype after United's defeat to Bournemouth last weekend to give an update on his injury situation and explained the timescale behind his return.
"I'm gutted," Pogba said of the Bournemouth result. "To see the team lose without being able to play is the worst. I would like to be back to help them but the most important thing is to heal."
He then went on to explain the cast would be coming off these week and he would then go through two weeks of rehabilitation.
