Ronaldo Club, Real Valladolid Signs Ex Newcastle Star Ben Arfa

Hatem Ben Arfa's six-month exile from football has been ended after the French winger signed on loan with Real Vallodolid until the end of the season.

The 32-year-old has spent time out of the game since leaving Rennes in the summer.

But he wore a big smile on Tuesday as he was presented as a Real Vallodolid player by legendary former Brazil striker, Ronaldo.

West Ham, Sampdoria and Fenerbahce were all linked with him, but Ben Arfa took to social media earlier in the summer to admit that no offers prior to Vallodolid excited him.

He wrote: 'No challenge that has been proposed to me has excited me. It's like with a woman, if she does not excite you, let my brother down.'
