Manchester United have signed two players firing the January transfer window.

The Reds are currently in the race to qualify for a spot in the top four at the end of the season.

Although, injuries to Marcus Rashford who is the club leading scorer lead Solskjaer to sign Nigerian Forward, Jude Odion Ighalo.

Recall that the former Watford striker signed from Shanghai Shenhua on loan until the end of the season.

Ighalo, 30, scored 39 goals in 99 matches for Watford between 2014 and 2017.

Also, the Red Devils have been short in the middle of the park due to injuries to Paul Pogba and Scott Mctominay.

Fred, Andrea Pereira and Matic have since been deployed to carry out the creativity in the midfield.

But yet goal scoring has been a problem since the absence of Rashford.

Just before the transfer window closed yesterday, Bruno Fernandes was signed for a long term deal from Sporting Lisbon.

Fernandes was pictured in training with his teammates ahead of the evening clash with Nuno Espirto Santo side, Wolves.

Manchester United welcome Wolves to the Old Trafford and Fernandes and Ighalo are expected to lead the line.
