The president expressed his joy after the festival was organized this year following series of unrest by Boko Haram and others in the northern side.
He stressed for such festivals should be carried out as it grooms culture and help boost the agricultural economy.

He's tweet reads: "The Argungu Agricultural & Fishing Festival was suspended for 11 years as a result of insecurity. This year, by the grace of God, this festival is back. I joined the people of Kebbi to celebrate this restoration, as well as the progress being made in restoring peace and security. "
