On Tuesday, pop star Justin Bieber reluctantly postponed his 45-date Changes Tour, which was scheduled to kick off May 14 at CenturyLink Field in Seattle alongside openers Kehlani and Jaden Smith.

'In light of the current public health crisis, and with the deepest concern for all those being affected, Justin Bieber will be postponing all currently scheduled 2020 dates for The Changes Tour,' the statement read - according to Variety.

'While Justin - along with his band, dancers and crew - has been hard at work preparing an amazing show, he has always put the health and well-being of his fans first and foremost.

'Justin is anxiously awaiting the opportunity to get back out on the road and perform in a space that is safe for everyone. He asks that fans hold on to their tickets, as they will be honored as soon as the dates are rescheduled. Information on rescheduled dates will be forthcoming soon.'

The 26-year-old Grammy winner cheered himself up on Monday night by chatting with the LA-based, effervescent Drew Barrymore for the very first time via Instagram Live.

'I'm such a big fan of you and I think you're incredible,' smiled Justin, who boasts 382.3M followers/subscribers.

Bieber went on to thank the 45-year-old Golden Globe winner for allowing him to use her image on an upcoming line for Drew House, his two-year-old unisex clothing company bearing his middle name.
