Sergio Aguero Slams FIFA 20 over Cards Pack

Manchester City forward, Sergio Aguero has called out FIFA 20. The Argentinian seems to be spending time with the video game due to the lockdown caused by the Coronavirus pandemic. 


Sergio Aguero was not selected to represent Man City at the ePremier League invitational tournament.


The FIFA game Introduced back in 2009, the game mode is now the crux of the FIFA series and it has revolutionised the franchise and the sports gaming world.


However, its evolution in recent years has sparked much debate over the ethical approach of Ultimate Team.


The pressure on gamers to use real-life cash to purchase packs to attain the best players is essentially a form of gambling and there have been many stories of people becoming addicted to buying FIFA points.


Fans of the series are rarely ever rewarded for investing their own money into the game, so much so that even Sergio Aguero has called out EA Sports.


Speaking on his Twitch channel, the Manchester City striker said: “If you want to get colourful cards, you've got to get FIFA Points and put your card in to buy packs. It is like that. Don't expect something from EA because they won't give you anything..."

Despite Aguero's love for FIFA 20, the highest scoring foreign player in Premier League history.
