Manchester United are preparing for their weekend clash with Cherries. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given his team news ahead of the game.


It's been gathered that the Red Devils will host Eddie Howe side at Old Trafford on Saturday. The game is expected to kick off at 3:00 pm GMT.



The Red Devils are coming from the their 3-0 win against Brighton Hove Albion during the mid week at Amex stadium.

Bruno Fernandes scored twice and Mason Greenwood to hand Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a strong grip on the top four.

Speaking during his press conference today, Solskjaer revealed that Phil Jones and his fellow centre-back Tuanzebe are the only absentees from the squad.

According to the Norwagian manager, they still yet to return to fitness after recovering from injuries.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told Manutd.com
“You do start feeling things now after a little bit, so there might be a couple of changes but let’s see today. The boys who didn’t play on Tuesday want to play and are ready to step in if they have to."

He revealed that both players are expected to return in September.

“Phil and Axel will still be out for a little while. It’ll be a few weeks before Phil can start training and Axel, we won’t probably see until September, " Ole said.

Meanwhile, Angel Gomes left the club when his contract expired on 1 July. The young play maker left the Old Trafford outfit after he was unable to find playing time due to senior players in the midfield.
