Liverpool confirms community shield clash against Arsenal on August 29

Liverpool will face Arsenal in the community shield. The club confirmed that the game will be played on August 29th.

The community shield is usually played before the Premier League season resumes. It features the winner of Premier League and winner of FA Cup go head to head at Wembley stadium.

Recall that the Reds were champions of the league while Arsenal beat Chelsea to lift the FA Cup. 

Liverpool have won or shared the Charity/Community Shield on 15 occasions.
