Southampton replies Tottenham tweet about the profile of Gareth Bale

Gareth Frank Bale is a Welsh professional footballer who plays as a winger for Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur, on loan from Real Madrid.

Gareth Bale returned to the Premier League to spend a loan deal with his former club after he has been frozen out of coach Zinedine Zidane side.

Although, Bale is currently recovering from an injury after he resumed to training as Jose Mourinho side plan 5o return to action next week.

Meanwhile, Southampton replied with a subdue shade that the Welsh international started his football education from the Saint Mary's stadium.

Bale began his professional career at Southampton, playing at left-back. Bale moved to Tottenham Hotspur in 2007, for an eventual £7 million fee.

On 1 September 2013, Bale was transferred to Real Madrid for an undisclosed fee. Press at the time reported the transfer value at figures between €91 million and €100 million.
